The Spanish authorities have stated that, with the exception of Switzerland, all European Union and Schengen Area nations would remain on the COVID-19 danger list for another week.
According to the most recent update from Spain’s Ministry of Health, the revised risk list went into effect from January 17, and would be valid until January 23.
The new list will be valid from 00:00 hours on 24th January, 2022 and be effective until 23:59 hours on 30th January, 2022. This implies that all visitors to Spain from EU/Schengen Area nations that are now designated danger areas will be forced to follow specific guidelines in order to enter the country.

Any formalities put in place?
According to the Ministry, travellers from countries with a SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus risk must produce a certificate or document verifying vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative certificate of a Diagnostic Test of Active Infection or a certificate of Recovery.
